GRAND RAPIDS — The Abundant Life Ministries, 1725 Division Ave. S.E., will host the 2008 National Fatherhood Summit from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 4.

The event will “bring together husbands, wives, mothers, fathers and grandparents in an effort to begin the New Year recognizing the need for repair of fatherhood nationwide.”

The Fatherhood Summit will lead up to the second annual Family Preservation Festival, which is slated to take place at Washington, D.C.’s Lincoln Memorial from Aug. 15 to 17.

The event is sponsorped by Children Need Both Parents, Dads and Moms of Michigan and the Abundant Life Ministries.

The January 4th 2008 National Fatherhood Summit - A national event held in Grand Rapids Michigan. The National Fatherhood Summit brought together husbands, wives, mothers, fathers and grandparents in an effort to begin the New Year recognizing the need for repair of fatherhood nationwide.

This was a national event with over 30 speakers from across the country that were experts in fatherhood, child custody, parental alienation syndrome, Title IV-D federal incentives and Michigan House Bill 4564. Also present were numerous elected officials, a Michigan Judge, authors, religious leaders and close to 100 organizational leaders.Speakers that were selected to speak at this national event:
